Quick Start: Repeat Projects

Start by copying an existing simulation. You'll decide what to keep and what to leave behind. You can edit anything you copy later on.

Check off each box as you go and this page will remember your progress. Reset all checkboxes

  1. Go to https://app.reactlearning.com

  2. Click the black Log in button

  3. Use your school email address to log in. If you've forgotten your password, you can also reset it here.

Pick a simulation

After you log in, you'll see a list of your simulations.

  1. Move your mouse over the simulation you want to replicate to reveal its controls.
  2. Click the Copy button.

Make the copy

On the Copy Simulation page, we'll show you a list of pages, activities, teams, roles, and stages.

  1. Uncheck anything you don't want to copy and we'll skip it.
  2. Review any changes we propose as you uncheck things.
  3. Click the green Copy Simulation button.
We'll copy your project and open the Edit page for your new simulation.

  4. Give your simulation a name and URL and click Save.

Import your roster

For now, contact support to import your roster.

Since you already have teams and roles configured on the site, you can include them with your roster to avoid manually entering them later.

Review your roster

Confirm that all of your students' information has been correctly imported to the site. You can optionally update teams and roles at this stage.

  1. In the top menu bar, click Tools, then Students

  2. Click Edit Students, Teams, and Roles

  3. Enter or update character information, roles, and team information for your students. Changes are saved automatically.

  4. You can also edit any students' account information (real name, email, password, etc) by clicking Edit Details next to their name.

Troubleshooting signup

If a student can’t sign up because their email address isn’t accepted

Sign up is based on email, so the first thing to check is that the email they’re trying to sign up with is the same email you’ve associated with their account. In the Tools menu, click Students, then the orange Edit icon, then look for the Email Address field near the top of the page.

While on the student’s page, also take a look at the student’s name. If you don’t see the words “Registration Pending” in red under the student’s name, they’ve already signed up and can log in.

If a student can’t sign up because they didn’t receive an email from the site to set their password

Once the site asks a student to check their email, it’s already sent the message. It’s possible there’s a delay on the student’s email server, but they should also check their spam or notifications folders to make sure the email didn’t end up there.

If you still can't get a student signed in

If you've tried everything and you can't get a student signed up, you can go to the students page, click the orange edit button, and set a password for a student manually. They can log in with that password immediately.

And if all else fails, or you don't have time to try...
